Probably Being Fine
You are not just a parent. Occupational therapy is built on the concept of occupational balance. A meaningful life requires more than one role and often we lose other roles when we move into this stage of life. A parent who has other roles and interests demonstrates that a full life is beneficial for identity, regulation, and purpose in life.
Balance is more than perfection. When your child sees you navigating frustration, negotiating priorities, and finding ease in your day to day life, they are learning what healthy adulthood actually looks like. We are showing them a positive example instead of placing emotional responsibility on them.
Parenthood should feel good. Probably Being Fine exists for the parent behind the parenting to help you balance your own needs and roles with the ones that your child depends on. We want to support you in finding your own rhythm.
